Paramount Pictures released the official trailer for their live-action Sonic The Hedgehog movie! It has been a long wait for fans, but the time has finally come, we get our first look at Sonic, Dr. Robotnik, and much more!
As I just mentioned, we get a look at the main cast of characters and the overall tone of the movie. It has some humor, some serious moments, and some cool epic moments like Sonic taking out a slew of enemies with his speed.
Viewers are split on how the movie looks, but if you were to ask me, it doesn’t look terrible. Not going to be the movie of the year or anything, but doesn’t look like it will be complete trash either. I guess we will have to find out how it turns out later this year!

SONIC THE HEDGEHOG is a live-action adventure comedy based on the global blockbuster videogame franchise from Sega that centers on the infamously brash bright blue hedgehog. The film follows the (mis)adventures of Sonic as he navigates the complexities of life on Earth with his newfound – human – best friend Tom Wachowski (James Marsden).
Sonic and Tom join forces to try and stop the villainous Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) from capturing Sonic and using his immense powers for world domination. The film also stars Tika Sumpter and Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic.
