After Namco Bandai initially filed a trademark for an unannounced Soulcalibur title, Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu revealed Soulcalibur: Lost Swords as a free-to-play title for the PlayStation 3.
The weekly issue of Famitsu revealed the new Soulcalibur title without much information to follow. Soulcalibur: Lost Swords will join other Namco Bandai games to adopt the free-to-play model. At the moment, Namco Bandai published other free-to-play titles such as Ridge Racer Driftopia, Ace Combat Infinity and Tekken Revolution.
