The Internet Begins Hunting Down Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Lightsaber Owner

April 15, 2019 by Dennis Patrick

The quest to learn the lightsaber origins.

When it comes to Star Wars games, the main focus right now is regarding Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The video game was one of the more anticipated reveals for over a year now. Now that we finally have our first trailer reveal, gamers are investigating everything. Star Wars, in general, is a massive worldwide franchise and each cannon release is dissected and talked about with fans online. So it doesn’t come to much surprise to learn that fans have gathered online to talk about everything we have seen so far and one of the biggest topics as of late is the lightsaber.

The first image teaser release prior to the trailer depicted a busted lightsaber and within the trailer, we have seen it once again. This is the lightsaber our protagonist wields but being busted and with our protagonist being a young padawan, most are wondering just where the lightsaber has come from. We know that the Jedi our padawan was learning from didn’t make it after Order 66 was initiated, forcing the clones to take out the Jedi. Now the question remains just who owned the lightsaber and how it was damaged.

As you can imagine, the internet has named a wide range of potential owners online but so far it’s likely something we’ll just simply have to wait and see unfold within the game. For those who have yet to see the trailer, you can view it up above. Overall, the game is focused on a young padawan that survived during a time in which Jedi are actively being hunted down.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is being developed by Respawn Entertainment and is slated to release on November 15, 2019, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
