Microsoft has announced another free play days event for this weekend and this time around gamers will be treated to two iconic rails titles — Halo Wars: Definitive Edition and Halo Wars 2.
Halo Wars 1 and 2 have been well received by both Halo fans and fans of the rails genre. The game has players taking control of a Spartan army and push them through strategically though levels, missions, and strongholds.
Both games will be available to download for free for Xbox Live Gold members starting Thursday, February 21. The free play event will run through until Sunday, February 24 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
Microsoft has also noted that if you play these titles this week and decide that you want to pick them up officially, all your stats, level progression, and achievements will carry over to your copy of the game. In addition, both titles will be on sale this weekend, so make sure to try them out!
