Some new screenshots for Pokémon X & Y show angles of trainers walking around in the new 3D space.
With the release date quickly approaching, the announcement of Mega evolutions in addition to the new direction for the series appears to significantly change the formula of most Pokémon handheld release.
The below screenshots show some gameplay of trainers exploring the tall grass and even riding Pokémon for faster travel.
While the screenshots won't create the same intrigue as the 3D footage released over the weekend from a Pokémon Game Show, the footage won't take any attention away from Pokémon X & Y.
Pokémon X & Y will release on October 12th for the 3DS.
