Fan Made Live Action Grand Theft Auto 5 Trailer Hits the Web

August 19, 2013 by Stephen Daly

How far would you go for Rockstar’s game?

The Three Wise Monkeys YouTube channel has put together a live action trailer for Grand Theft Auto 5 which sees armed thieves break into Rockstar's New York headquarters in order to steal copies of the game.

The trailer follows the robbers as they move through the building, gunning down those who see them and eventually making it to an office containing a safe wherein they find a copy of Grand Theft Auto 5 on PS3 and Xbox 360. They make it out, rush home and begin to play when clearly the sensible thing would have been to sell it on Ebay or, you know, not kill people over a videogame now less than a month from release – that works too.

One thing to note: The trailer lists a PC version of the game at the 3:30 mark but to date no PC version has been confirmed. Grand Theft Auto 5 is set for release on PS3 and Xbox 360 on September 17th.

Grand Theft Auto Online will be released on October 1st.
