Thief Dated for February 2014 With gamescom Trailer

August 16, 2013 by Stephen Daly

The game’s box art has also been released.

Thief has been dated for February 25th, 2014 in North America and February 28th in Europe in a new trailer released for the game's showing at the gamescom convention in Cologne, Germany next week.

Garrett the Master Thief is entangled in an escalating conflict between Baron Northcrest and the oppressed masses led by Orion, the voice of the people. In a City on the brink of revolution, his skills are all he can trust as he walks the fine line between politics and the people.

If you missed it, you can catch the game's E3 trailer here and you'll find the announcement trailer here.

"In the beginning, in the conception, we had carte blanche to completely restart a new design of Garrett," the game's lead designer Nicolas Cantin has said of the master thief's new look. "We wanted to keep the main DNA of who Garrett was. We didn't want to change that much because it was kind of working already."

The game is set for release on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Also released is Thief's box art which you can see below courtesy of All Games Beta.
