If you picked up Just Cause 4 then you know that there is plenty to explore and missions to go through. One of the optional missions is solving several tombs for Javi as you search for the Lost Tomb of Otorongo. By doing Javi’s bidding you can track down the Lost Tomb and earn The Knowledge of Power trophy. You’ll want to progress far enough into the game so that you can gather various retractor mods which will help you in the long run otherwise these tombs may take a longer time to complete.
- Note: There are icons located on your map of where the tombs are located. Likewise, you will find icons appear for the boulders and pressure plates. If you’re ever lost simply look around for the green icons.
Tumba Del Sirviente
Step #1
Use the grapple hook to first pull the pillar switch which will release a giant bolder. Using the grappling hook you’re going to guide the boulder down into the drop below. Head down into the drop and continue using the grappling hook to maneuver the boulder into the pressure plate.
Step #2
Head to the tomb and enter where you can light a candle that reveals a phrase.
Tumba De La Princesa
Step #1
Head down into the crater below and make your way towards the pillars lining up south of Altoyaku when you look at the map. Essentially, you should be facing towards the pond next to Altoyaku. Go into the tomb entrance area and once again use the grapple hook to pull the pillar handle.
Step #2
Follow the boulder down the pathway and allow it to slowly reach the hole on its own. Again, go up the pathway and enter the tomb to light the candle.
Tumba Del Guerrero
Step #1
Go towards the stairway and on the left side facing the stairs will be the pillar switch. Use the grapple hook and pull it to release the boulder.
Step #2
Guide the boulder straight down and until you reach the stairs where you will want to guide the boulder towards the right hand side across the bridge. Continue up the pathway to the next set of stairs and guide it over which will bring you to the pressure plate hole. Again, afterwards head into the tomb and light the candle.
Tumba De Los Tres Ninos
- Note: 3 Boulders
Step #1
Locate the pillar towards the right hand side that has a fire post. Beside it will be the first pillar lever to pull. The boulder will release down the side of the cliff where it will roll down past the pressure plate hole. As a result, you need to head down and roll it onto the pressure plate.
Step #2
Head back up to the hill and head to the opposite side of the first pillar lever. Again, you’ll find a similar pillar with a lever to pull which will drop another boulder. Head down the pathway and guide it to the pressure plate.
Step #3
Head back up the hill and just below the ruins will be pillars. They will be the last two pillars towards the top end area of this location. The pillar with the fire post will have a lever to pull which will unlock the third and final boulder of this area. Just as before, you will follow the boulder down the pathway and guide it onto the pressure plate.
Step #4
The tomb now will be unlocked which is on the hill. Head inside and light the candle.
Tumba Del Sabio
Step #1
Head to the shoreline and enter the mountain where you will need to progress through the pathway. When you reach the dead end, look up and grapple your way over the cave wall. Continue until you once again reach the next dead end and look up for another opening area to grapple. Make your way to the old ruins and towards the back wall there will be a pillar lever to pull. Now the boulder will roll down and crash through the wall where it will automatically reach the pressure plate on its own.
Step #2
The tomb is located right behind the pressure plate so head inside and light the candle.
Tumba De La Esposa
Step #1
Look around the pit to find the pillar with the lever to pull. When the boulder comes down, cut it off and guide it to the pit. Again guide the boulder down the path then hang a left where it will roll down to the pressure plate.
Step #2
Go into the tomb which is right next to the pressure plate and light the candle.
The Lost Tomb of Otorongo
- Note: 5 boulders
Step #1
After the cutscene look down and move the single boulder down to the pressure plate right below it.
Step #2
Head to the top tower facing the pressure plates and roll the boulder down the top of the tower where it will travel down towards the pressure plates.
Step #3
You’ll find another boulder within the mountains across the street where you will again guide it into a pressure plate below.
Step #4
Past the streets and on top of a cliff there will be another boulder. You’ll have to guide it down the cliff and across the streets before you can roll it into a pressure plate.
Step #5
The last boulder you will need is within the cliff that’s above the satellite towers off in the distance. You’ll need guide it down the cliff and let it roll down to the pressure plates.
Step #6
Grab a vehicle that has one passenger seat and grapple the sarcophagus to the vehicle. From there all you need to do is drive to the extraction point.
