Codemasters has today confirmed a release date of October 4th for F1 2013 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
One of the key features of this year's entry in the series is the presence of classic cars and driving personalities from the 80s and 90s who will be included in the game. Those who opt for the more expensive Classic Edition of the game will get access to more content though Standard Edition owners will be able to purchase these extras as DLC.
The game will be updated as the F1 2013 season progresses in order to include changes to handling and tire changes.
Two of the tracks included in the game are Silverstone – where rival racer Gran Turismo 6 was recently announced – and Nurburgring.
