The Walking Dead: The Final Season
- Developer: Telltale Games
- Publisher: Telltale Games
- Platforms: PC, PS4, XBO, NS
- Release: August 14, 2018 – TBA
Telltale Games has really become a leading development studio over the years thanks to the careful story narrative they take players through. Each IP is handled delicately and delivers fans a unique look at some of their favorite franchises such as The Walking Dead. We’ve been following this narrative journey since it first released in 2012 and now we’re gearing up for its final season.
The Walking Dead has mainly followed a young girl who was raised and adapted to a world filled with chaos and fleshing eating monsters. It’s hard not to love Clementine and cheer for not only her survival but happiness in this world as she overcomes the odds with each season that releases.
This upcoming installment is coming out with its first episode on August 14, 2018, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC platforms. Much like the past stories, this season will follow Clementine and will be concluding her story. Currently, we know that the game will take place years after the events that followed The Walking Dead: A New Frontier.
The Walking Dead: The Final Season has already released but we will see the fourth episode launch into the market in December which may bring in even more gamers purchasing the IP.
Dragon Quest Builders 2
- Developer: Square Enix
- Publisher: Square Enix
- Platforms: PS4, PS3, PSV, NS
- Release: February 9, 2018 (Dragon Quest Builders)
Dragon Quest Builders is a sandbox action RPG that’s set within the world of Alefgard. This is a more lighthearted adventure with similar visuals to titles such as Minecraft and Terraria. In the narrative, players are off to revive the world which has been flooded with monsters, however, in order to rebuild the world players must also seek out and manage resources.
The video game doesn’t feature a complex combat system like the main installments within the franchise. Furthermore, the title has since already launch on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita platforms whereas the PlayStation 3 version of the game remains a Japanese exclusive. It was only until earlier this year that Nintendo Switch owners were able to get a copy of this game but it looks like this won’t be the last installment to the Builder series of Dragon Quest.
A sequel is in the works which we hope finds a release outside of Japan soon. It will bring in cooperative gameplay with up to four players, but so far news is a bit scarce on a localization release.

Thanks to a busshi our shinobi manages to keep his life. In place of his missing arm is a prosthetic that players will be able to equip different gadgets and tools to use again enemies. While the developers FromSoftware may be best known for their Souls series lately, it appears that the Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will be a bit different.
This game will also rely less on players chipping away against an enemy’s health in order to defeat the foe. Instead, the game may be a bit faster with katana attacks offering players the chance to land a blow that will instantly kill the enemy.

New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe
- Developer: Nintendo
- Publisher: Nintendo
- Platforms: NS
- Release: January 11, 2019
During the September Nintendo Direct, the video game industry giant unveiled that New Super Mario Bros. would see a new release on the Nintendo Switch. The original New Super Mario Bros video game titles were a hit when they released on the Nintendo DS and the Nintendo Wii. Since the Nintendo Switch is bringing in plenty of new adopters regularly, Nintendo is dusting off their catalog of video game titles available and giving it a new coat of paint along with some additional features.
New Super Mario Bros. Deluxe is bringing back the Wii title release for the Nintendo Switch while also adding in two new characters. The new characters are Nabbit who will not take any damage against enemies and Toadette who can transform into Peachette with special abilities such as a double jump or slowly falls.
That’s not all, as this game will also include the New Super Luigi U. This means that the Nintendo Switch has two classic platformers coming in one bundle in 2019. This is something that should hopefully hold gamers over until the next Mario featured title releases into the market.

Not only does Resident Evil 2 look spectacular but it seems that the developers are seeking new ways to bring fans an enjoyable experience. For instance, Capcom is bringing the over-the-should camera view similar to the later Resident Evil titles such as Resident Evil 4 rather than the fixed camera angles.
However, the game narrative still remains the same as players will be taking on the role of Leon and Claire as they make their way through the heavily infected Raccoon City.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gb6sNLbPAGQ
- Developer: Bandai Namco Games
- Publisher: Nintendo
- Platforms: NS
- Release: December 7, 2018
One of the biggest announcements to have come from Nintendo’s March 2018 Direct was official word of Super Smash Bros. 2018 will see the delivery of a Super Smash Bros video game title on the Nintendo Switch.
The latest upcoming installment to Super Smash Bros. is titled Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and it seems that the game will feature a massive roster of fighters. We’ve been seeing teases and Nintendo Directors for this upcoming game set to release within the holiday season of this year though the hype may be based around the number of fighters you’ll be able to select from.
Nintendo is bringing every character ever featured within a Super Smash Bros. video game back into this upcoming installment. Likewise, Nintendo is adding even more characters into the collection such as Metroid’s Ridley, Splatoon Inklings, Castlevania’s Simon Belmont and Donkey Kong’s rival, King K. Rool.
But wait there’s more! Turns out that Nintendo is still planning on new character announcements as we closer to the titles launch date. This is undoubtedly a system seller for the Nintendo Switch and we imagine bundles will be bought up rather quickly.
