Soulcalibur: Lost Swords Trademark filed by Namco Bandai

July 18, 2013 by Andrea Castellano

Namco Bandai registers Soulcalibur: Lost Swords trademark.

Namco Bandai might announce a Soulcalibur game in the next few weeks as VideoGamer.com found a trademark registered for the Soulcalibur series.

The trademark registered at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, suggests that we will see a game called Soulcalibur: Lost Swords rather than a Soulcalibur 6 sequel. The application does not specify which consoles the game will release on, so speculating its exclusivity ultimately proves pointless.

We last saw a Soulcalibur release last year in January for North America where it launched around Final Fantasy XIII-2.

We will post any new information if the game becomes official.

[Edit] Changed Lost Worlds to Lost Swords.
