The Neo Geo Mini, a miniature version of the classic Neo Geo home console recently hit on Amazon Japan and SNK’s official online store. Little did SNK know that the classic console would actually prove ridiculously popular – reaching sold-out status in a matter of 48 hours.
I mean, we’ve seen the same amount of demand for Nintendo’s classical revivals with the likes of the SNES and NES consoles – so I suppose SNK could’ve had a little bit of an idea of just how ridiculous the market is. I wonder if the American reception will be the same?
The Neo Geo Mini releases on the 25 of July for Japanese consumers.
