Square Enix will play a big role in the next-generation of consoles. As we’ve seen from the company’s tech demo, which has somehow been listed on Amazon as a PlayStation 4 release, the talented group has a solid engine that will be used to produce the future of Final Fantasy. However, there’s still work to be done on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Murdered: Soul Suspect was announced in February for current-gen hardware, and a new image has been released through the game’s official website.
Well, “released” may not be the right word to use for this particular situation. Nothing about Soul Suspect has been revealed directly, as this action title with an emphasis on riddles seems to enjoy teasing fans with puzzles. The latest one comes through the game’s Twitter account, which posted a message this morning that isn’t all that difficult to figure out.
“disTUrbing nEw evidence fileS in archive,” the Tweet reads. “how Does this relAte to the case?”
Let’s solve this together, shall we? Look at the capitalized letters. If you put them all together, you get the word “Tuesday,” which is the current password to enter the files on the website. Within those documents is the below image:
“What is the hardest case to solve?” That’s the tagline we’ve repeatedly heard when this game has been referenced. That case seems to be your own death, but how any of that comes together to form a game releasing in 2014 is still unknown. Look for more information at next week’s E3 event.
