As the most highly revered international sports franchise under the EA banner, every little detail that seems to leak for a FIFA game grabs some attention. While most North American players see Madden as the king atop a highly contested hill, in terms of pure sales figures, it’s the soccer giant that sits on top. This means that FIFA 14 is going to be bigger, and hopefully, better than ever before. We may not have any hot new gameplay to show off at this time, but a fresh video showing some improvements to player faces has just been discovered.
Fans want to be able to control their favorite athlete. However, the faces of the biggest stars in the sport have never really been able to capture the personality or likeness of the player in the past. With FIFA 14, the faces will be improved, and new Starheads have been added. The players featured in this new video are Dortmund, PSG, Tottenham, Marseille, Lille, and Everton.
It’s not all about looks, though. David Rutter, executive producer for FIFA 14, has promised a much batter playing game this time around.
“FIFA 14 will play the way great matches are contested with build up through midfield, tension throughout the match as chances are created, and incredible finishing,” said Rutter. “Opportunities in FIFA 14 will be rewarding and great goals will look stunning.”
Look for better faces, better ball handling, and a whole new soccer experience when FIFA 14 launches on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC later this year.
