HyperX Shipping Pulsefire Surge RGB Gaming Mouse

April 10, 2018 by Katrina Filippidis

Swankified.

Shipments of the Pulsefire Surge RGB Gaming Mouse are officially unerway, HyperX experts have announced. This is the latest evolution of the award-winning Pulsefire FPS, and builds upon its design with a state-of-the-art Pixart 3389 sensor, and 360 degree light ring that has impressive illumination effects. Christopher deemed it ‘hypnotic’ in his review, and now, you can fall under its spell too for $69.99 USD.

HyperX represents the Kingston Tech Company’s gaming division, and premiered the Pulsefire Surge RGB at CES 2018. It’ll also dial up the DPI settings to a maximum of 16,000, complete with customisation options and a handy LED indicator for crystal-clear switching between the Surge RGB’s three profiles. Like its predecessor, it features a 1.8m braided cable with high durability and premium-grade Omron switches, and a 1,000Hz polling rate. Macro-addict? HyperX is recognising your need for instant convenience with its NGenuity software, which lets you button-bind and store macros to your heart’s content. One prominent difference is HyperX’s decision to swap textured side grips for a smooth surface. The Pulsefire Surge RGB also comes in slightly heavier at 100g, but still falls within a comfortable weight spectrum. If you liked the Pulsefire FPS and are itching for an upgrade, this definitely looks like it could satisfy your need for good quality peripherals.
