Fortnite Update 3.4 Will Add Vending Machines

April 5, 2018 by Jordan Coetsee

Vending Machines come to Fortnite.

Yay more Fortnite news. Once again, don’t hate me, I’m just doing my Job.

Epic Games has announced that alongside the usual bug fixes and tweaks in update 3.4, Fortnite will also be getting vending machines added to the third person shooter.

Taking to the official forums, Epic Games announced that the update will land for all platforms, and won’t actually require any title updating, so you won’t have to have any gaming downtime. “every other week we will drop new content without the need for an update”. The idea is for developers to spend more time fixing glitches and deeper issues, but without halting the weekly content drops.

How the vending machine will work is that players will be able to exchange raw materials for random loot. Check out the video displaying the functionality down below:

Fortnite is out now for PC, PS4, Xbox One and iOS. Thoughts on Fortnite? Tired of seeing the weekly news of the third-person shooter? Let me know in the comments below.
