The developers at Spiders Studio have put together a launch trailer of Mars: War Logs, a sci-fi role-playing game. The trailer's out ahead of the game's release today, where it will be available on Steam and other major digital platforms. It'll also be out in a few days on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.
Mars: War Logs takes players on a journey to Mars, set nearly a century after a huge cataclysm threw the planet and the Earth's outlying colonies into chaos. Players take on the role of Roy, a renegade caught in the middle of a civil war, while various corporations fight over the resource most precious on the planet: water.
According to the game's makers, players will immerse themselves in a main quest where every choice matters, and develop their characters and combat style by choosing among many different talents and skills. The game offers dynamic, real-time combat against human foes and monsters arisen from the wastelands of Mars.
The choices the player makes during dialogues will influence the way the story plays out, including how you influence your companions and the fate of those who cross your path.
