Rockstar’s GTA 5 Epsilon Program Twitter Feed Goes Live

April 21, 2013 by Ian Miles Cheong

The Twitter feed for the would-be parody of the Church of Scientology is up and running again.

Get hyped. Rockstar Games has renewed their marketing efforts for Grand Theft Auto 5 with the re-activation of their Epsilon Program account on Twitter. The Epsilon Program cult is a parody of the Church of Scientology, and its Twitter account has been inactive for the past five months until today.

The Twitter account published a series of tweets alluding to the resolution of an ongoing court case in the cult’s favor. Like their real-world counterpart, the Epsilonists appear to be every bit as addicted to litigation. The cult vowed that they will be “suing everyone,” and promising further that “a real chance to learn the truth” is coming, “just as soon as we can finish it”—implying that they’re fabricating “the truth”.

Finally won the court case! We are innocent, we are back and we are not a cult!

It’s been proven. Not guilty. Justice has been served. We will be suing someone.

Coming just as soon as we can finish it, a real chance to learn the truth. #truthseekers!

It’s difficult to say what they’re up to at this point in time, so we’ve little choice but to speculate on what Rockstar is doing with the Twitter account.

GTA 5 is coming to the Xbox 360 and PS3 on September 17.
