Today's Nintendo Direct was heavily Mario-themed (though we did get a sprinkling of Donkey Kong and Zelda too). One new Mario title announced was a downloadable game for the 3DS called Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move, a puzzle adventure made up of more than 180 levels across four modes.
The game plays like those pipe puzzles, in which you have to place pieces of pipe to create a path for water to flow from one side of the screen to the other, except the pipes are replaced with paths and the water with clockwork Mario toys. The player solves the puzzle on the lower screen and watches it unfold (in 3D if they wish) on the upper screen. The levels vary in size and sometimes you'll have a limited number of pieces or have to direct two toys at once. The game also includes four mini-games.
Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move will launch on the Nintendo eShop on May 9. Will you give it a go?
