The winners of the Xbox Entertainment awards, a public ballot that included games, movies, and music on Microsoft’s Xbox Live service, have just been released. Unsurprisingly, the overall “best game” is also the most popular, most played experience available on the console – last year’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
Plenty of quality entertainment products, from Far Cry 3 to Halo 4, made an appearance on the list of last year’s greatest games, but only one game could take home the gold in each category. The results are now public, and can be seen below:

· Best Add On / Consumable – Call of Duty: Black Ops II – Season Pass

· Best Movie – Ted
· Best Superhero Movie – Avengers Assemble
· Best Comedy – Ted
Music
· Best Album – Lana Del Ray – ‘Born to Die’
· Best Single – Swedish House Mafia – ‘Don’t You Worry Child’
· Best Artist – Eminem
· Best Music Video – Psy – ‘Gangnam Sytle’
The voting process was interrupted in March when security breaches revealed some user’s Gamertags, dates of birth, and email addresses. An impressive list of prizes led voters to include their personal details, as this was the only way to be considered for the free games and hardware. There were 2,892 users registered before the site had to be taken down and updated for security purposes.
