Lost Planet 3 Delayed Until August

April 9, 2013 by Stephen Daly

Capcom blames "business reasons" for the delay.

Capcom's Lost Planet 3 has been delayed by two months until August due to "business reasons" Eurogamer reports.

The game will now be released on August 27th in North America and on August 30th in Europe, it had been set to release at the end of June.

Coming to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC Lost Planet 3 is being developed by Spark Unlimited. In the game players will be cast in the role of Jim Peyton, the father of Wayne, the original Lost Planet's protagonist. While travelling across a frozen wasteland he discovers a seemingly abandoned facility which, naturally, turns out to be not-so-deserted after all leading to all kinds of sticky situations.

Capcom have also listed their various other titles and some of the release dates for games which are coming this year.

Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen will be launched on April 26th, while Resident Evil: Revelations is coming on May 24th and Remember Me is set to be released on June 7th. Available to download will be Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara in June while DuckTales Remastered will be released at some point this summer.

During the PlayStation 4's unveiling event in New York in February Capcom also showed off Deep Down which seems to be a Dark Souls and Dragon's Dogma inspired game though a release date is not yet known.

Capcom did not elaborate on what their "business reasons" might be.
