It's been several years since Irrational Games made their explosive announcement of BioShock Infinite at E3, and the day of the game's release has finally come.
BioShock Infinite comes out today in most parts of the world, with folks in the US having to wait another 12-14 hours for the game to unlock on Steam—which also happens to be about as long as the game itself.
Reviewers who had a chance to play the game before anyone else have written up their reviews, and with the embargo lifted, you can their take on the game.
The early verdict is in, and BioShock Infinite is receiving some of the highest scores of any game ever released, in line with that of the original BioShock. Here's what everyone is saying. Note the perfect scores.
