Call of Duty: WWII To Get A Limited Prop Hunt Mode

January 22, 2018 by Jordan Coetsee

The popular mode makes its way to Call of Duty for a limited time.

Sledgehammer Games and Activision have teased an upcoming community event for Call of Duty: WWII Players. Dubbed, The Resistance, the event is set to start January 23rd and will include a new Resistance Division (and accompanying gear), a handful of free weapons, the return of Demolition mode and double XP playlists. What’s more, the event will also introduce a prop hunt mode for those that enjoy a little bit of hide and seek.

Here’s how the official Call of Duty website describes Prop Hunt for WWII:

‘As an underground Resistance fighter, you must master the skill of stealth. In a fun spin, just for this event, you can put your skills to the test in the Prop Hunt game mode, where players on one team must disguise themselves as everyday items strewn throughout the war zone, while the other team is tasked with tracking them down and destroying them. As a fun party mode, we hope you’ll enjoy taking a break from the core modes and try Prop Hunt during this limited-time event playlist.’

If the trailer is anything to go by, it seems that we’ll be able to step into the shoes of a bucket (how exciting!) Prop Hunt will be playable during the event on Feb. 6-12 and Feb. 20-27.

Call of Duty: WWII is out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
