Before digital deck-building games like Gwent, Duelyst, and Hearthstone, there was Magic: The Gathering started a craze for paper CCGs that never really died. Evoking that same spirit for collecting them all is Video Games Playing Cards, essentially an ordinary deck of playing cards, but superimposed with designs from a range of independent games.
While the first deck is finished, creator JanduSoft has invited indie developers who are intersted in seeing their game featured in the next deck to initiate contact via the Video Games Playing Cards website.
The only way to purchase these cards will be through the Kickstarter campaign, which is expected to go live in the next four days. Keep tabs on the official Twitter for the latest.
