While we have indicators for physical sales, we don’t really have any trackers for the digital sales on platform. This is sort of a bummer considering many people across the world have opted for digital copies of titles rather than physical copies.
Luckily, every year sony releases some information regarding the most downloaded pieces of content from the PS store. Unsurprisingly, Call of Duty WWII takes the reign for the most downloaded game of 2017.
That being said, there are some surprises in the list, with one being that Friday The 13th managed to make get more downloads than Guerilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn.
