Tomb Raider is designed as a reboot of the action-adventure franchise, and casts Lara Croft in the role of a survivor rather than a veteran explorer and treasure hunter. While Lara's certainly strong enough to delve through the jungle on her own, she'd be better off with a capable player behind her, and this walkthrough/guide serves to prepare any would-be players in their adventure.
After being shipwrecked upon an isolated tropical island, Lara must steel herself by surviving the wilderness and find other survivors from the ship. She’s forced to cope with hardships and find the strength within herself to deal with the challenges that lie ahead.
