Bethesda’s open world RPG, Skyrim may be getting an Xbox One X patch very soon. According to a master list of games enhanced for the 4K console, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition patch status has been updated, changing from ‘In Development’ to ‘Coming Soon’.
Microsoft and Bethesda haven’t really said anything about the enhanced patch, but it’s still important to note that the change occurred for some reason – be it as a rumor or if it is official.
Either way, it does make sense for Bethesda to drop some sort of special Skyrim content, especially considering the open world RPG has been making headlines recently both for the Switch version and for the recently released Special Edition.
If you haven’t picked up the Skryim Special Edition, here’s what to expect:
Return to an iconic land of dragons, lords and secret orders as Bethesda’s celebrated fifth chapter in the Elder Scrolls saga comes to PlayStation 4.
After emerging unscathed from a ferocious dragon attack that claimed the lives of your captors, set out into the intimidating wilderness of Tamriel’s frozen northern territory.
Collect weapons, armour, supplies and everything you’ll need to survive the harsh envrionments and dangerous landscape, moving between towns and villages, meeting with locals and drawing ever nearer to your destiny.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition is out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
