The PAX Aus 2017 Schedule is Now Live

October 6, 2017 by Katrina Filippidis

A festival for gamers: sneak peeks at upcoming AAA and indie titles, speedrunning, cosplay, and panels galore,

Attendees of PAX Aus 2017 can now peruse the schedule exhibition at their leisure. The three-day gaming spectacle will be host to a diverse line-up of speakers, where founder of Rooster Teeth and Red vs. Blue creator Ronnie Burns kicking things off with opening keynote ‘Storytime’.

Download the official PAX Aus mobile app here to access the complete schedule anytime, anywhere.

PAX Aus has been held in Melbourne since its debut in 2013, bringing the public the hottest new games from Activision, Riot Games, Bandai Namco and beyond. Freeplay areas will make a return, offering a broad selection of tabletop, PC, and VR games to try, and for the very first time, an R18+ area in Console Freeplay.

Locally brewed independent games will receive their own bustling section where PAX Aus Indie Showcase winners will be thrust into the spotlight.

2017 also sees the introduction of the popular League of Heels bash-off, a virtual pro-wrestling wring in which gaming personalities let loose and fire a few punches at one another.

PAX Australia Content Manager Luke Lancaster isn’t afraid to admit the way we perceive games is constantly evolving:

“PAX Aus, much like the universe, expands every year. That’s science. Also like the universe, there’s way more cool stuff than any one person could see in three days, I’m incredibly proud of the show we’ve put together this year and we can’t wait to share it with the PAX community when our doors open on October 27.”

Single day badges to PAX Aus are currently available for $65 AUD each. Both international three-day badges and three-day badges cost $165 a pop, but the latter is quickly running out. Those interested can purchase tickets here.

PAX Aus will run between October 27-29 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
