Resident Evil Revelations Is Officially No Longer A 3DS Exclusive

January 23, 2013 by Matt Hawkins

The game that should have been Resident Evil 6 in the first place is coming to a console near you.

One of gaming's worst kept secrets, or at least a fairly recent example one, has finally been made official. Resident Evil Revelations, formerly a 3DS exclusive (and one of the better early first party offerings) is headed to PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC, according to Capcom.

The port will lose the 3D visuals, obviously, but will net a number of extras in return. Including a new difficulty setting, new enemies, new means to customize one's weaponry, and Hunk being playable in Raid Mode.

Plus, the visuals will be upgraded, though the graphics were fairly sharp to being with. This new iteration will retail for $49.99. It's perfect for those who lack a 3DS and thusly have not gotten the chance to give the extrmely competent RE-spin off a spin. Along with those who still have a bad taste in one's mouth due to Resident Evil 6.
