Borderlands 2 DLC Injects 15 New Customizations

January 22, 2013 by Ian Miles Cheong

Three standalone DLC packs for Borderlands 2 add a host of customizations to the game.

Gearbox has put together three new sets of skins and heads for players in Borderlands 2 to customize their characters. The new DLCs are the first of its kind in the game, and is designed around the themes of Madness, Domination, and Supremacy.

Each set includes a new head and a new skin for each of the characters, amounting to a total of 15 new customizations in all. The Madness theme can be seen below:

Each set goes for 80 MS Points or USD $0.99, and are available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. They are not a part of the game's DLC Season Pass, so you'll have to purchase them separately if you'd like to deck your characters out in the themed gear.

As it has no impact whatsoever on gameplay, gearing out your characters in one of these outfits is purely cosmetic.

For everyone else, the DLC Season Pass covers the three existing campaign DLCs—Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty, Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, and the newly released Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt. A fourth expansion is forthcoming.
