FIFA 13 has taken advantage of the quiet early weeks of the year and won itself the top spot on the UK charts for the sixth time since it was released back in September. However, its sales are actually down 47% on last week, so it's a lean time for video games as a whole. Far Cry 3, for example, follows it up in second place, but with a 36% drop in sales. The rest of the top five all have their own drops of 40-50% too: Call of Duty: Black Ops II is still in third but after a 41% drop, Hitman Absolution has come down 54% to hold its position in fourth, and Just Dance 4 has a 52% drop but stays in fifth.
In fact, the only new game in the charts for week two of this year is Anarchy Reigns, the new beat em 'up from Sega and Platinum Games, and that only comes in at number 16 despite the drop in sales for the titles above it.
