August 30, 2017 by Katrina Filippidis

Puzzle-platformers, virtual reality, physics based strategy and offbeat adventures.

With just a couple of months remaining until PAX Australia opens its doors, six lucky games have been selected as Indie Showcase winners. The winning entries, which comprise an eclectic mix of both Australian and New Zealand brewed games, have been carefully selected by industry vets and will receive special promotion on the PAX Aus show floor.

The 2017 Pax Aus Indie Showcase features: Forts, Grabity, Sky Noon, Virtually Impossible, The Gardens Between, and Projection.

Forts, EarthWork Games

Grabity, Ninja Thumbs

Sky Noon, Lunar Rooster

Virtually Impossible, Growl Interactive

The Gardens Between, The Voxel Agents

Projection, Shadowplay Studios

PAX Aus takes place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from October 27-29. Those interested in attending can purchase tickets from the website, starting at $65 AUD for a single day pass. International tickets are available as a three day pass for $165 AUD.

2017 marks the fifth anniversary of PAX Aus, which will continue to be held in Melbourne for the next few years.
