Recently GameStop conducted an interview with Jesse Rapczak, the co-creative director, art, and technical art director on the game – but instead of having a GameStop staff member conduct the interview, they asked the community to pose some questions.
One of the questions in the interview was if the PC version of Ark: Survival Evolved would feature split-screen co-op support. Rapczak responded stating that there will be support for the Windows 10 version – the Steam version is still undergoing consideration
“Local splitscreen on PC?” — Submitted by Vef
“The Windows 10 version of the game will support local splitscreen, since it is based on the Xbox version of the game. We’re still evaluating whether to add local splitscreen to the Steam version. Stay tuned!”
The full interview talks about other topics such as the game level of preparedness for full release, the possibility of magic being used in the game and introduction of any additional anti-cheat systems to the PC version. Check out the full interview, here.
