During a recent financial meeting for GameStop, Chief Executive Officer Paul Raines, Chief Operating Officer Tony Bartel and Chief Financial Officer Robert Lloyd, announced some awesome news regarding Nintendo’s latest console launch, the Switch. Nintendo’s Hybrid console has officially become the most successful Nintendo platform in the store’s history.
Raines stated that the console Nintendo to see a 14.8% increase in hardware sales, year by year. The consoles massive demand during launch also saw an increase in interest for other Nintendo consoles.
Lloyd also added that the demand for the Switch remains consistently strong, not to mention the SNES Classic, which has also been high in pre-order demand.
The Super Nintendo Classic Mini will launch September 29th.

In other Nintendo news, the console will be receiving exclusive cars for Rocket League when it launches on the Switch Holidays 2017.
