S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 was announced at gamescom last year, but today there is a QA on the game's facbook page. In it the developers give details about the game. It will be a completely new story in the same old uncomfortable setting of the Chernobyl. There will be new mutants and include the cities of Chernobyl and Chernobyl 2 with a lot of X-Labs and secret underground facilities.There will be new characters as well as the return of old ones. On the technical side, the game will be powered by a whole new engine and support Direct X11. Yes, the game has gone multiplatform, but they insist that there will be no compromises for the PC version as it is the target platform and will be visually superior to the console counterparts. There is no release date.
