Just yesterday, we posted news that Konami had a demo of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance available on the PSN but for Japanese players only.
Now, Konami has revealed that the other regions will get the demo for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance in January — though at an unspecified date.
This upcoming demo, is the same one bundled with the Zone of the Enders HD Collection and shows off a part of the game's second level.
So, there you have it. Non-Japan PS3 users and Xbox 360 fans will be able to take a stab and see if Raiden's first game will result in a series or as a one-off flop in January. For clariification, when we say a demo for the game will be available for all regions for the PSN and Xbox LIVE, it doesn't mean Japanese Xbox 360 users will be able to try it out. As far as we know, the Japanese Xbox 360 version of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is still cancelled, so releasing a demo for a cancelled game wouldn't be very good, no?
For those who've tried the demo from the ZoE Collection, what do you make of it? Should Dante from DmC be quaking in his boots now or is he still the top dog when it comes to Japanese action games?
Thanks, Siliconera
