Some independent developers/students at DigiPen have put together a new game called Perspective, which they describe as an "experimental first person perception puzzle game."
The game is, essentially, a 4D platformer in which takes into account your perspective of the playable character on screen. The mechanic is fairly similar to the "endless walkway", and Escher-influenced Echochrome.
"Perspective was put together by some of the most competent, hard working, and passionate game creators I have ever worked with," reads a statement by one of the game's developers, Pohung Chen. "From the very first line of code pushed to our mercurial repository, up until the moment the final build was uploaded, we poured our hearts and souls into the creation of this game.
"None of us had the luxury of working on Perspective full-time. From overloaded six-course semesters at DigiPen to full-time jobs and internships, there were always other obligations pulling for our attention. Despite these distractions, we sacrificed sleep and sanity to make Perspective into what it is today."
Perspective can be downloaded for free here. You'll need Windows and a DirectX 11-capable graphics card to run the game.
