Ubisoft is giving players the chance to the Santa Blanca drug cartel in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands for free. The announcement, which came via the Ubisoft blog, reveals that the first five hours of the game will be playable—so if you’ve been meaning to try Wildlands now’s a good time to do it.
The free trial lets you access the main game with bug fixes and title updates, but doesn’t include the Narco Road or Fallen Ghosts expansion packs. It’s available to everyone, but anyone who wants to enjoy 4v4 co-op and matchmaking will need an Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus subscription. Make sure you have enough storage space too—the trial clocks in at 60GB on both platforms. Luckily, you won’t need to download the game again if you decide to purchase the full experience, and all progress is saved.
Interested players can try out Ghost Recon: Wildlands for free on PS4 and Xbox One today. Ubisoft hasn’t confirmed a PC trial at this stage.
