Graceful Explosion Machine Makes a Grand Entrance on PS4 & PC

July 27, 2017 by Katrina Filippidis

Overpower an alien armada.

Vertex Pop’s colourful arcade shooter Graceful Explosion Machine sure packs a punch. It’s got exciting neon visuals, intense shmupcore gameplay and a scintillating soundtrack to boot. You control a surviving space fighter who needs to blast through waves of enemy warships across more than 30 levels. Aside from chaining combos, you’ll need to collect fallen crystals from enemy remains to replenish your weapon ammunition.

Each of the four weapons (blaster, energy sword, missiles and sniper beam) are unique and devastatingly powerful—just the ticket for racking up high scores. Vertex Pop founder Mobeen Fikree said Graceful Explosion Machine is the kind of game that caters to different kinds of players, both those looking for a zen experience as well as more competitive folk who are keen to top the leaderboards.

If you own a Nintendo Switch, you can get stuck into Graceful Explosion Machine today. It’s coming out for PlayStation 4 and PC on August 8 for $12.99 / €12.99.
