Seems like Sony keeps on dominating the market this generation. Sony has outsold both Microsoft’s Xbox One and Nintendo’s Switch according to industry-tracking firm The NPD Group. The new gold 1TB slim PlayStation 4 drove those sales and led to the best June ever for PS4 system sales.
Launching the Gold PS4 Slim for $250 on June 9 as a limited price, along with the exclusivity of the new colour juiced the sales, making PS4 the top hardware based gaming company this month. While this doesn’t mean the competitors underperformed, it just means that Sony’s marketing division did a great job at acquiring new consumers.
