The previously reported Pier Solar HD Kickstarter has finally wrapped up and is officially a bona fide success. It managed to raise $231,370 of the $139,000 that was originally asking.
So not only did it reach its primary goal, but all stretch goals as well, which were only announced relatively late into the proceedings. Even the $200,000 milestone, that being a version for the Wii U, was met.
The team behind the game had this to say in their most recent update:
"Five out of Five stretch goals reached just days after announcing them. Seriously, totally awesome. We're proud to have so many people interested and excited in Pier Solar HD and we could not be more thrilled to bring our game to you on all the platforms we are releasing it on."
Furthermore, there's also One Year at WaterMelon: The Movie. Similar to what other Kickstarted games are doing, the developers are going to document the process of putting the HD version of their game together, in the form of a documentary.
Every single backer will get the movie as a digital download, plus backers above the $49 level will get the special limited edition DVD as well.
