Over on the PlayStation EU blog, PS Store and Plus Content Manager Chris Howe has revealed the third deal of the “12 Days of Christmas” that started on the 1st of December and will run until Christmas itself. From now until 11:59pm on December 6, PlayStation 3 owners in the EU will be able to download Tokyo Jungle for around half its normal price. PlayStation Plus members will also get a further 10% discount, making the game £4.67/€5.84. If you don't have PlayStation Plus, you'll still only pay £5.19/€6.49, down from the original price of £9.99/€12.99.
This deal follows on from the 90-day PS Plus subscription for 33% off (£7.99/€9.99 instead of £11.99/€14.99) that was the first deal, which expires 7:00am on the 9th, and the expired (and rather rubbish) second deal that brought Battlefield 3 down from £59.99/€69.99 to £29.99/€39.99.
Tokyo Jungle is a survival action game in which you play a variety of animals trying to get by in a post-apocalyptic Tokyo after humankind has vanished. If that sounds like your kind of thing, now is a good time to get it. Though if you have Plus, you might want to wait, as PlayStation is currently working on fixing a problem with applying the 10% discount.
