While loyal Mass Effect fans eagerly await BioWare’s Omega DLC—which has been claimed to be the biggest they’ve created yet, not to mention the most expensive—producer Michael Gamble has quietly announced that they are dropping a small DLC tomorrow, Tuesday, November 20th, before Aria snatches back Omega.
Gamble didn’t say anything else about the DLC, but I’m suspecting it could be some sort of item or armor pack for single-player or a small free multiplayer DLC. Gamble also confirmed there will be an Omega DLC trailer out before the actual DLC releases on November 27th that we’ll be sure to have for you here when it drops.
There has also been confirmed to be more DLC coming after Omega, though again, no details have been announced. It is very clear that even while BioWare Montreal gears up to work on Mass Effect 4, that the old team will still be supporting Mass Effect 3 with DLC for a while yet.
