Microsoft Announces Release Date for Xbox Game Pass; New Video Explains the Program in Detail

May 24, 2017 by Jordan Biazzo

Nice little informal walkthrough brought to you by Larry Hryb.

Earlier this year Microsoft announced its latest subscription called Xbox Game Pass. The new subscription-based membership allows gamers to play a vast amount of titles with paying a low monthly fee.

It is essentially a new way to rent games. However, ever since the announcement, the Game Pass program went quiet; that is until today.

Microsoft has finally announced that the Xbox Game Pass will be launching on June 1 and will cost users $9.99, an exceptional price for the program that is offered. In addition, Larry Hryb Director of Programming, walked viewers through the process of how the whole program works. Check out the new video down below:

The Xbox Game Pass will launch with 100 titles and will be available for both Xbox One and PC Windows. Xbox has also detailed the first lineup of titles gamers will be able to download and play, with there being over 100 titles, you can check them out all here.

Will you be subscribing to the Xbox Game Pass on June 1? Let us know in the comments below!
