22 Cans Website Features Curiosity Apology, Donate Button

November 12, 2012 by Jordan Erica Webber

Molyneux says server issues will be fixed soon.

Curiosity: What's Inside the Cube?, the first experiment of the 22 Peter Molyneux's indie studio 22 Cans will produce, has been incredibly popular so far, but it has also suffered from technical issues due in part to that popularity. The servers are overloaded, leaving some people unable to access the cube at all. With one prize in the centre that only one player will receive, this kind of problem is making the game quite unfair.

A video on the newly designed 22 Cans website sees a designer from the company called Jack asking the programmers on the team about the issues, finishing with a chat with Molyneux himself. It looks as if the coders are working long hours to get the problem fixed, and Molyneux says he's convinced they'll do so.

To help the team to improve the cube, which will be necessary if the team wants to keep its potentially more than a million players interested and tapping away, the new website features a PayPal donate button, with this message:

We are a small independent developer and due to popular demand we now offer the option for kind people to donate, so that we can make Curiosity the best possible experience it can be. However big or small the donation; it will really help us make Curiosity better.

Are you still tapping?
