Who would have thought you would be treasure hunting in Prey? The video game has a neat optional quest available for gamers that involve finding treasure maps, figuring out the clues, and ultimately gaining the loot that waits at the end.

Danielle Sho
Before we are able to start going after these fabled treasure maps we’ll have to start up the quest. In order to do start the quest head towards Danielle Sho’s computer, this is located within the Crew Quarters.
Once there, open the email with the subject “Treasure Hunt”. From there, this will give some backstory towards the quest and point towards your first treasure map location.
Hordinbaffle Flagdasterous
Treasure Map Located: The Hordinbaffle Flagdasterous treasure map is located on the body of Zachary West. His corpse can be found within the Arboretum.
Puzzle Solution: Within the Water Treatment facility, there will be a number three written on the wall. Zoom onto the number and your quest log will update.
Captain Stabfellow
Treasure Map Located: To locate the Captain Stabfellow treasure map you’ll have to head over towards the Crew Quarters. There you’ll find a table where the map is located right next to the Captain Stabfellow’s character sheet.
Puzzle Solution: Within the second level of the Crew Quarters and it’s within this level that you’ll find a Recycler. In that specific room, look at the right wall and you’ll find the number six. Zoom onto the six and your quest log will update.
Rosalyn Swyft
Treasure Map Located: The Rosalyn Swift treasure map is located on Emma Beatty who is alive on the first level of the Crew Quarters.
Puzzle Solution: Head towards Cargo Bay Level 1 and look at the walls inside the G.U.T.S. Loading Bay. You’ll come across the number five. Zoom onto the number and your quest log will update.
Melindra Shadowcorner
Treasure Map Located: The Melindra Shadowcorner treasure map is within the Deep Storage on level two. Unfortunately, the map is located within the command center which is guarded by mimics and a thermal phantom.
Puzzle Solution: The Melindra treasure map solution is a bit more complex than the others in this guide. For starters, you’ll have to head towards the G.U.T.S. area which you’ll have to reach the bottom of the shaft. From there, make your way through the tunnel and come out through the Shuttle Bay Fuel Storage area. Leap the across the broken bridge and look towards your right for the number one. Zoom into the number and your quest log will update.
Treasure Map Quest Completed
After collecting all the treasure maps and locating the specific numbers attached to the maps, you’ll be able to enter the four-digit code though it seems that the code can vary in order so you’ll have to check just what code combination is.
