When Vikings Attack Encourages You to Throw Things at Angry Men

November 7, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

It’s now out for the PS3 and PS Vita.

When Vikings Attack

When Vikings Attack is a bloody amusing game about throwing things at people. As the game’s premise would have it, a group of unruly vikings has landed—1200 years late—in Britain.

You have to unite the townspeople of the little English town and fight back the viking invaders by picking stuff up and throwing it at them while they try to do the same to you.

If you’re curious about how it plays, Sony’s trailer of the game should suffice as an explanation.

Designed for both single and multiplayer co-op modes, When Vikings Attack is created for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita and purchasing one version of it gives you access to both. It’s now out on the PlayStation Network. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t have Cross-Play support, so you won’t be able to compete with your friends on the PS3 while you’re on the Vita, and vice versa.
