Gears of War: Judgment is now available for pre-order from online stores and brick-and-mortar retailers.
The Xbox 360 exclusive is set as a prequel to the original Gears of War trilogy and tells the origin stories of Baird and Cole, and is set in the aftermath of Emergence Day. Designed as the first in a new trilogy of games (exactly like Star Wars: Episode One), Gears of War: Judgment follows the stories of the two characters and their cohorts in Kilo Squad.
Those who pre-order the game now will receive an exclusive in-game multiplayer weapon called the Classic Hammerburst, which is described as a “standard-issue assault rifle” of the Locust Army during E-Day.
Epic Games says that it has plans to announce additional pre-order incentives in the weeks to come, with details about exclusive multiplayer characters like Young Marcus Fenix, Young Dom, Anya, and Alex Brand.
