Not to be outdone by its big-brother, Sony has also released the TV commercial for Assassin's Creed Liberation for the PlayStation Vita. Y'know, just in case you didn't know there's a full-blown spin-off of Assassin's Creed 3 hitting its fledgling handheld console.
Assassin's Creed 3 Liberation is set between the years' 1765 to 1780, which is the era where the French and Indian War escalates and leads to the American Revolution. It stars Aveline de Grandpre, a female African-American assassin who will cross paths with Assassin's Creed 3 protagonist Connor Kenway.
I have to admit, that didn't show much when it comes to the actual gameplay. But seeing as it is a TV spot, it's to be expected, no?
Can this game finally be the PlayStation Vita's "savior" when it comes to its software library? We'll know soon enough as Assassin's Creed 3 Liberation will hit store shelves on October 30…yep, the same day as its Xbox 360 and PS3 counterparts. If you're looking to buy a PS Vita and Assassin's Creed 3 Liberation, there's also a bundle for that coming out that will bundle the game with a new crystal white Wi-Fi PS Vita.
