We already know Minecraft is the most-successful Xbox LIVE game of all-time; now it can add another "notch" to its belt as the game has now managed to topple Modern Warfare 3 as the most played game on Xbox LIVE.
While Minecraft's success isn't really that surprising given its PC accomplishments, it's still something when an open-world building game manages to unseat this generation's most popular gaming franchise.

I'm guessing a congratulations are in order for Minecraft studio Mojang and the studio behind its Xbox 360 port 4J Studios, no? Then again, I assume they can't hear all that back-patting over all money they're raking in right now.
